ISAIAH house meetings

Claiming our Voices

Mayflower is a member of ISAIAH, the faith-based, statewide, social justice organization where we can bring our faith-based values into the public arena. Whether it be economic and racial disparities, health care, immigration, criminal justice, education, or stewardship of the environment our faith values require us to speak out.

This year, ISAIAH has proactively initiated a statewide effort to influence the public discussion earlier in the process. Now, through November 26, ISAIAH is holding 20 house meetings at Mayflower members’ homes and at Mayflower itself. These meetings are part of an effort to bring our faith based values on issues to the precinct caucuses and the candidates next February.

These meeting offer an opportunity to discuss how we intend to change and improve our society. They are also a great way to meet fellow Mayflower members and develop new and lasting relationships.
