Youth Group
High school students meet Sunday mornings during the school year from 9:45–10:45 a.m. for fellowship, study, and discussion around the "Seasons of the Spirit" curriculum. The youth plan special church-wide events, make monthly meals for the clients at Branch III, and participate in local service projects. Youth also frequently take work trips to sites around the country. More information here.

A Night on the Streets Pictured at left: Mayflower youth with leader Dana Blanck at this year's Night on the Streets. Mayflower youth joined young people from several other churches to experience first-hand what homelessness is, and to raise funds to end youth homelessness.
Youth Work Trips Nearly every summer Mayflower youth go on a mission/work trip. Past summers have included travel to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota for a week-long educational and work experience with our Native neighbors and team-building trips to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Youth sponsor a talent show, car wash, plant sale and other fundraising activities to support their summer trip. More information here.
BRANCH III Food Prep Mayflower's youth group has been preparing food for Branch III for the past 25 years. Youth prepare the food on the third Sunday of each month, and adult Mayflower volunteers then take the food to the site on Chicago Avenue on the following Monday. Mike Potter has been the food source, bringing the ingredients to church without fail for years. We appreciate his dedication!
