Mayflower Journeys Through the Wilderness this Lent
This Lenten season, Mayflower will follow along with the Lenten & Easter Toolkit provided last year by the Minnesota UCC conference. The theme is “Wilderness,” and we will explore several different weekly themes centered around the wilderness of the soul and our connections to the Earth and each other.
Each week, we will provide ideas for activities and discussion questions for use by families and church groups alike. We encourage you to engage with the material and each other as we embrace the Lenten energy of intentional reflection. Families set aside some time for weekly meditations/devotionals or find ways to weave the themes into everyday discussion. Grandparents, invite your grandchildren into these discussions either in person or via your preferred video call platform. Friends and teams, make some intentional time to contemplate this material together over a warm beverage.
Join us as we traverse the wilderness together. We may be wandering, but we needn’t do so alone.
