What’s In a Name? Readers’ Theatre Stories Requested

SPECIAL NEED: Stories from the 20-50 something age group!

Readers’ Theatre presentations have marked significant events in the life of Mayflower Church since 1992! This simple, yet powerful, art form is made up of personal stories that document our lived experience. Over the years, we’ve addressed tough topics, sensitive issues and grappled with bringing about change.

And now, we’ve come to another important milestone in the history of our beloved church ~ whether or not to change the name! So, we want your story…your honest, heartfelt, perhaps even comical, story that addresses the question: What does the Mayflower name mean to you?

Once gathered, stories will be woven into a theatrical piece to be presented at both services on March 17. All ages are encouraged to submit a story. Please send submissions of 400 words or fewer to Mary Keepers at marykeepers@msn.com.

DEADLINE IS SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 18! Anonymity will be honored!
