The Threshold Ministry is excited to share four presentations with the Mayflower community this fall. Three will be during the Adult Education hour between services:

Sunday, October 15 – What Matters to Me. This workbook is “Not about making specific medical decisions. It’s about thinking about what matters most to you – and sharing your goals and preferences with you health care team (and family). Then together you can choose the kind of care that is right for you.” (Maggie O’Connor)

Sunday, October 22 – An introduction to Ethical Wills (Penny Tower)

Sunday, October 29 – Land Conservation Natural Burial organization will speak about the practice of natural burial which can not only reduce harm, but enhance the precious dirt of our Earth. (Linda Ridlehuber)

Saturday November 4 – a showing of the 2008 movie “Departures,” a humorous and touching view of traditional Japanese burial practices and the prejudices around death in Japan.
